Trompe L’oeil Towels
Designed by Elisabeth (Lisa) Hill
For the last several years, Elisabeth has been interested in what she calls meta weave – any woven motif that looks like an interlacement of threads. These towels are a result of exploring meta possibilities on four shafts, using a high-contrast accent color in warp and weft to create a 3D effect, essentially a woven trompe l’oeil. Beam 8/2 Organic Cotton and Mallo Cotton Slub work wonderfully together to make fun and functional towels in Summer and Winter weave. Order a kit.
