One Warp Towel Set

This pattern will show you how to weave a coordinated set of two small face towels and a standard-sized hand towel on one warp. The bundled stripes of cotton/linen throughout the organic cotton warp add a little extra texture to these classic towels. Order a kit.
Equipment
- Rigid heddle loom (Read about adapting rigid heddle patterns for multi-shaft looms here.)
- 12.5-dent reed
- 2 boat shuttles + bobbins or 2 stick shuttles
Yarn
Warp: Beam 3/2 Organic Cotton, 335 yds Licorice; Duet Cotton/Linen, 150 yds Marble.
Weft: Beam 3/2 Organic Cotton, 160 yds Licorice.
Specifications
- 17″ weaving width
- 12.5 EPI (note that each of the Duet stripes are threaded in a single slot)
- 8 PPI
- Two face towels: 6.25” W x 7.25” L + fringe and one hand towel: 14.5” W x 22.5” L + fringe
